Lindsay has wowed us all over the past year with her original and unique controlled abstract style, which you can view in our student gallery. She isn’t afraid to experiment with her camera and the subjects she chooses – and the results have truly paid off for her.
She embraces the course, adds a modern slant and energy to her images, and equally shares this energy within the iphotography community. Lindsay holds the skill to successfully take a household utensil (such as a fork), or similarly, commonly photographed water droplets and totally transforms them into original, strikingly powerful pieces of photography artwork; it is a pleasure to witness and observe.
Comment from the iPhotography Team:
We would like to say a huge congratulations to Lindsay, and also a huge thank you to her for the support and commitment she has offered over the past 12 months. We look forward to seeing more of your fantastic abstract and modern imaginative photos – we can’t wait to see what new ideas you have for 2015.
Lindsay has been awarded a crystal glass engraved trophy, £200 Amazon Gift Voucher, and will also receive vouchers for the new iPhotoshop Course 1 & 2 (RRP £399).
Comment from Lindsay MacKay:
Having only picked up a camera for the first time less than a year ago, I am a little shocked, but absolutely delighted, to have been recognised in this way by the iPhotography team.
iPhotography Course has given me the knowledge and inspired me to experiment with all types of photography, which in turn has allowed me to develop my own individual style. There is a real sense of community within the student body, and the encouragement, advice and input from the tutors has been invaluable.
